Today is our first day of summer break! The kids are rearing and ready for a weekend of pool fun, and I thought I would go ahead and share some summer favorites that have worked really well for our family all summer long…

Floaties – The kids always want a floatie for the pool, but the big ones tend to pop. This 4 pack was a good solution for individual floating for all the kids ages.

Washable marker case to go – These have provided hours of entertainment for my girls! They bring them everywhere!

Owala stainless steel water bottles – Absolute favorites! These have lasted us for a few years now! (A shock when there are no lost water bottles at the end of the school year.) These are easy to wash and clean with bottle brushes as well.

Swim goggles – Another item we tend to lose frequently, so I like this affordable three pack!

Towels – I got a pack of these a few years ago and they are still soft and true to their color many washes later!

50% off Girls swimsuits – Hanna Andersson seems to be the only brand that gives full no wedgie coverage to my active girls! They are well made too and don’t run thin. All swimsuits are 50% off this weekend. I love their swim trunks as well!

Swim shorts – I like the swim trunks for boys that have compression shorts underneath – they tend to last longer!

Silicone popsicle molds – We blow through popsicles, so I started making them with this silicone mold and juice or lemonade!

Tree swing – A family yard favorite that my kids use daily! Fits a few smaller kids:)

Mesh tote bag – I love this mesh tote bag for towels! A good spacious tote with pockets for only $15

SPF Clear pouch – There are several options for these clear pouches, and I use this one to throw all the sunscreen in! Helps me keep track of it in a sea of other pool items.

Clean Sunscreen for kids – I finally found a clean ingredient sunscreen for kids that is affordable! It rates a 1 on EWG.org which is where I always check for clean product ratings, and it blends in well! We use the face stick as well, and they have this one for babies!

We used this Regalo pop up play yard so many times when Gus was a baby, and will be using it for our little one next year as well. It is so handy to bring to the beach, pool, parks, or even back yard to pop up and provide a safe play space with optional sun protection cover for babies and little toddlers. Easy to collapse and pack too!

We have had this nostalgic ice cream maker for over 4 years now. You only need rock salt and ice to make really creamy and delicious ice cream in a few hours! This is a fun one for kids to help with too.
