This fall decor guide is to share some quick tips on building a foudnation for classic decor pieces as well as sharing where to find them! I have tried to focus on purchasing timeless fall decor that can be reused year after year. Items like neutral-toned pumpkins, flameless candlesticks, vintage candlestick holders, natural wreaths, warm toned throws, and brass lanterns blend well with any style room! It makes it easy to rearrange fall decor year after year in different ways. Classic autumn pieces can create a great foundation for seasonal decor that won’t feel outdated in a few years!

LED candlesticks have been a favorite of mine in recent years are they are kid friendly, they add warmth and ambiance to any space, and can be safely used on mantels, tables, windowsills, with fall foliage, pumpkins, etc. Since they’re flameless, LED candlesticks also last year after year. The only downside is replacing batteries! I just turn mine on in the evening hours and turn off with a remote before bed to stretch that battery life as long as possible!

I don’t find it very practical or doable to swap art every season, but it has been fun to do with our FrameTV! We have a bunch of autumn art prints and downloads in our shop Maris Home. Each download comes in various sizes with a free file just for the Samsung FrameTV (as pictured in our living room above).

Making your home smell I am super sensitive to synthetic fragrances, and tend to get headaches with candles unfortunately! I love using diffusers for fall and holiday scents though. I have diffusers in most of the rooms of our home because my kids request to use them too! My very sweet friend sent me the aria diffuser which covers the largest amount of space, but I love this one as well for rooms around the home. A few diffuser recipes I love (double for the aria diffuser):
ORCHARD STROLL -3 drops Bergamot + 3 drops Orange + 3 drops Cedarwood
MULLED CIDER – 3 drops Orange + 3 drops Ginger + 3 drops Cinnamon Bark
SPICED CHAI – 3 drops Cardamom + 3 drops Clove + 3 drops Ginger
CRISP BREEZE -4 drops Lemon + 3 drops Orange + 3 drops Balsam Fir
PUMPKIN PIE -4 drops Cinnamon Bark + 3 drops Clove + 3 drops Nutmeg
CIDER & DONUTS – 5 drops Stress Away + 3 drops Cinnamon Bark + 2 drops Orange

Another classic decor item I use each year is fall foliage. I would always prefer real, but if you don’t have the luxury of autumn trees in September and October, you can find such realistic looking options now that will also last you for many years! Whether arranged in vases, draped across mantels, or worked into wreaths, I love how faux foliage brings in the warm earthy tones!

I just started pulling out fall decor, and like to slowly add items around the house through September. Cheers to cooler temps ahead!
