We are nearing the end of Chiara’s room design, and something I realized through this process was that color makes me really happy. I knew that, but we lived in an open first floor plan with our last home for a long time so white walls were everywhere. My 2021 goal? More color inside the […]

In the 90’s this colour was very popular and I used it too to paint the walls in my appartment. Nowadays my love for this colour is over, for me it is a bit of old fashioned. But maybe one day that will change again 😉 .

says:This looks great ! ☺️

says:I painted my home office peach last year and tested sooooooo many samples! I ended up with Benjamin Moore “Daytona Peach.” When the sun comes in in the morning the whole room looks like it is glowing. Love me some peach walls! 🙂

says:I’ve always loved the fact you didn’t shy away from color or pattern, or follow a certain trend! We just recently sold our tiny home 😭 and every square foot of it was color (I went a tad bit overboard ☺️) but our home was always described as “cozy” or “inviting”. Now we’re moving into a home almost 3x the size, a new build. We are saying no to all the upgrades to save some cash and be able to put our stamp in it, So I want to try to incorporate things like color and patterns (maybe removable wall paper 🤔) with a balance of neutrals to really make the place ours and bring it to life! I will definitely continue to follow your home journey for inspiration! ❤️

says:Looks so happy, just like little Chiara! What color did you paint the dresser? Looks so timeless. 🙂
Sarah P
says:Also interested in the paint color of the dresser!

says:GET JOB GUYS….. I HAVE REFINSHED SEVERAL PECIES.. WORKED FOR SECOND HAND STORE AND WAS ABLE TO SNATCH UP REALLY NICE PECIES… RIGHT NOW, I HAVE BEEN GIFTED MY MOTHERS DINNING ROOM SET .TOO OUR KNOWLEDGE IT HAS TO BE CLOSE TO 200 YRS OLD.. BEAUTIFUL FRENCH LEG BUFFET. CLEANING IT YESTERDAY WAS SUCH A TUG AT MY HEART, THE CHAIR MY FATHER SAT IN WITH HIS DNA, FINGERPRINTS, CAUSED ME TO PAUSE MOST OF THE MORNING, THINKING OF ALL THE BIRTHDAYS, HOLIDAYS, WEDDINGS, GRADUATION, FUNERALS.. AS WE SAT AROUND THIS OLD TABLE AND CHAIRS… IT WAS A VERY EMOTIONAL MORNING.. SUCH LOVE, OF FAMIILY. MY BROTHER RETURNING FROM SERVING IN THE MARINES AND AT THE SAME TIME MY OWN HUSBAND SERVED IN VIET NAM , SUCH MEMORIES FURNITURE CAN SPEAK TOO… GOD BLESS ENJOY YOUR BEAUTIFUL PEICE.. FOR SOME DAY, MAY YOU FIND SUCH MEMORIES TO TAKE YOU BACK IN A MORE LOVING TIME . WHEN FAMILY MEANT EVERTHING. THERE WAS NO SOCIAL MEDIA THAT INVADES A FAMILY SEPERATING EACH OTHER. EVEN A SUCH A MOMENT OF DINNER. A PHONE IS ALWAYS TAKING PRECEDENCE BEFORE EACH OTHER…. SAD ISN’T IT? SOMETHING SO SMALL IS SO POWERFUL OVER THE MAJORITY OF SOULS WHO ONE DAY , WILL LOOK UP, AND EVERY MEMORY OF YOUR GRANDPARENTS AND PARENTS ARE NO LONGER TOLD.. I KNOW, I AM 72, IT BREAKS MY HEART TO HAVE A FAMILY HOLIDAY DINER AND NO ONE CAN LEAVE THEIR DAMN PHONES IN THE CAR.. SO , MY LAST WISHES HAVE BEEN MADE CLEAR… THE DAMN PHONES DO NOT COME INTO MY FUNERAL. IF THEY CAN’T CELEBRATE MY LIFE “IN REAL CONVERSATIONS” FOR TWO HRS… BUT OF COURSE THEY WILL SIT WITH BLANK STARES, NO TEARS, NO EMOTIONS. NO MEMORIES. BECAUSE NO ONE BOTHERED TO LEARN WHO I WAS, WHAT I LOVED, WHAT I HATED…CASE IN POINT, I HAD MORE CONNECTION WITH MY MOTHER’S PEICE OF FURNITURE THAN MEMORIES I HAVE WITH MY OWN SON AND GRANDCHILDREN…PATHETIC ISN’T IT?
