Okay I love talking food. No surprise there. I want to hear what you are making?! Mainly so I can change my mind too many times and possibly add twelve more dishes to my menu. 😉 Here’s our traditional + non-traditional lineup this year… (Waiting on Martha’s Harvest Salad) Menu: Relish tray Homemade […]

says:I love how everyone’s menu is different! My mom hosts, but we pretty much have the same thing every year.
-Turkey
-Stuffing (We love the Williams Sonoma focaccia bread one)
-Yukon Gold mashed potatoes
-Peas
-Roasted carrots (This year she is doing rainbow)
-I’m sure there will be some other veggie in the mix as well. My mom is veggie obsessed.
-Pumpkin pie and homemade pumpkin muffins for dessert
We need your MILs roll recipe!!
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
The Harvest Salad is beautiful! Such a healthy dish! 🙂
Hmmm I’m bringing Brussels Sprouts and I was planning on Joy’s gouda’s recipe but yours is really appealing. It’s 22 people so maybe I’ll make both and folks can have options.

says:This all looks beautiful!! I’ve been following a Paleo diet for awhile and the last 4 Thanksgivings have used Danielle Walkers Thanksgiving recipes for just about the whole meal. Her brined turkey recipe gives you the best roasted turkey I promise you’ll ever eat!!Her pumpkin pie recipe is amazing too for anyone who needs to be dairy, grain, and refined sugar free. Seriously so good!!
Your Thanksgiving table is beautiful!

I love the gold candleholder in the center of your table! Where is it from?
I just hosted my first Thanksgiving this year and tried something I had read: throw your butter into a food processor with fresh herbs (I used thyme and a lot of garlic) and process it. Then plop the butter onto some plastic wrap, form into a roll and refrigerate it until it’s cold. When you’re ready to prep the turkey, just slice the butter into “coins” and slide each coin between the skin and the meat.
Dude. it was so good.
