Hannah Johnson
says:Hooray for great Christmas ideas! Thanks for the post!
These are all so fun! We made our first advent calendar last year, and it’s a fun tradition I want to keep up each year!

Some of my best Christmas memories were the Advent Calendar my godmother put together for us as children each year. Each day was filled with chocolates and then a quote about the Nativity or Christmas. It was one of the highlights of our days as children while we waited for Christmas to come!
Colleen
says:I love the cards arranged like a tree. What kind of tape did you use? Will it come of the cards without tearing?
Kathleen
says:A couple of years ago I splurged on a beautiful white lighted tree from West Elm and that has become our Jesse Tree… (I found a kit to make wooden ornaments on Etsy) and that is a favorite family tradition.
Ruth
says:Thanks for the ideas, Anna! Any kids Christmas books you love? I’m planning to do the book one this year and am always looking for more good books!
Amanda
says:We have a chocolate, part of the nativity story, and a card describing something to do that day: either a Christmas activity(baking cookies, visiting Santa, Christmas caroling, etc) or a Christmas “help” (making cards for soldiers, handing out candy canes to adults in our neighborhood, picking up trash at our park, etc).
Eileen Dougherty
says:Oh my these are so great! I will definitely be borrowing the book idea, love it
The knitted calendar looks so good! I’m looking to get a unique, out of the box one for this year (my first advent calendar!), so I’ll check that out. Thanks for the recommendations!
