Both my sister and dear friend are getting married in May! The weddings are 6 days apart, and they will be the highlight of my year since they are two of my favorite people. Two weddings at 7 mo. pregnant. You can imagine this induces a little bit of angst and anxiety over the what […]

I’ve found that with lined dresses like the free people one, the outer layer is often forgiving enough, but the built in slip is too tight for a big belly. If you’re talking about removing the slip and wearing your own preggo-friendly one that would work, but might be a bit hard to find with a back as low as the dress. I just ordered this dress for an early May wedding (I’ll be about 6 months pregnant): http://us.asos.com/ASOS-WHITE-Silk-Trapeze-Dress-in-Watercolour-Print/13o7sc/?iid=4049869&clr=Watercolourprint&SearchQuery=watercolor+trapeze&SearchRedirect=true&mporgp=L2Fzb3Mtd2hpdGUvYXNvcy13aGl0ZS1zaWxrLXRyYXBlemUtZHJlc3MtaW4td2F0ZXJjb2xvdXItcHJpbnQvcHJvZC8.
I’m in love with the green one! I think the color would look amazing on you.
I agree with you, my favourite is the yellow print dress too! Not sure how the green one will look with a bump though?
There are some lovely maternity dresses at émoi émoi too – please take a look if you have time! 🙂

says:i LOVE #1 and #3! Both are super classy, elegant and wedding appropriate! Good finds!
Monica
says:Love the yellow one – bright & bold but not too busy that you can’t accessorize or belt, etc. plus wearing your own slip is great.
I do adore the dark green one though: midi length & fitted makes for a hot mama!
Liz
says:I LOVE the blush pink dress – mostly because that’s my absolute favorite color. The green Anthro dress is my 2nd fave.
I’m also on the hunt for wedding season dresses. I stumbled upon this one at Madewell on sale, and although it’s maybe not the ideal color for spring/summer weddings, it’s lovely nonetheless – and a STEAL of a deal! 🙂 [https://www.madewell.com/madewell_category/DRESSES/shiftdresses/PRD~B5903/B5903.jsp?N=21+10003&Nbrd=M&Nloc=en_US&Nrpp=48&Npge=1&Nsrt=3&isSaleItem=true&color_name=TRUE%20BLACK&isFromSale=true&isNewSearch=true&hash=row3]

says:I was just thinking of this exact topic. We have at least 4 very dressy events/weddings this summer and I want something that 1. doesn’t make me look like a whale but 2. flatters my figure without being a tent. I have a hard time because I am 5’2″ with such a short torso that my belly always looks bigger than it is so when i will be 5 months i will probably look 7 and so on….so I like these options and definitely book marking them for this summers festivities. I like the green one. It would complement your skin tone!

says:I love the blue one! Wish we could see the front — tried clicking the link but it led to an error message?
What about Hatch Collection dresses? Sometimes you can find them for a bit cheaper on eBay. 🙂
This one is so pretty… http://hatchcollection.com/shop/product/the-barefoot-dress-sale/

says:I am actually considering #3 for Easter/showers that I have coming up also at 7 months pregnant so that one gets my vote. I have had great luck with H&M non maternity dresses. They almost always have some light weight shift styles dresses that work both belted and unbelted. Plus they are normally between $20-$30 so that is also a win.

says:I vote for 1 and 4! I have followed you for a while now and have come to the conclusion you rock everything you wear 🙂
No matter what you will be beautiful! I can’t wait to see what you pick!
Laura
says:#4 if you’re dressing a bump! It doesn’t look dowdy and like you’re trying to hide your pregnant belly, but it doesn’t cling to it too much.
3 is my favorite but 4 seems more comfortable for a growing belly.
Such pretty dresses!! Another great alternative is Reformation, which is made in LA! I LOVE their dresses and I’m just waiting for a special occasion to buy one <3

Love the last two! The colours are so vibrant and beautiful for summer.
