I remember when I started dating Gabe I would mumble a good deal and look away when I was talking to him. It was a bad habit I didn’t even realize I was doing. He started to challenge me to look at him straight in the eyes when I was talking to him. Something simple […]

Amazing quote. Isn’t it so amazing to have someone build us up like that, Anna? Words are so powerful, and I absolutely love everything you said. Definitely joining in on this! xo
So excited you’re doing this again! I participated on my blog and really loved doing it 🙂 Will you have banners to link back to like last time?
Ah, this is such a struggle of mine. I am HORRIBLE at looking people in the eye when speaking to them. I am simply not confident enough and I worry that people think I’m socially awkward because I don’t look them in the eye… my husband always tells me I need to be more confident!
Love the challenge!
I LOVE this!!
This is wonderful Anna! Such a good reminder! Love that you’re always spreading joy and beauty everywhere you go! xoxo
Such a beautiful and inspiring post, and that lovely quote as well!
Words are so powerful indeed!
I understand about the eye contact comment. I reckon it took me till about 20 until I could hold a proper conversation while looking in their eyes and keeping it. It’s a weird thing but so personal too. I guess you can tell if someone is honest and loyal but their contact in a way.
Liking the idea and seeing how it progresses.
Beautiful quote and a lovely challenge! I hope to participate at least once.
This is so so perfect! What a great way to inspire, motivate, and encourage others! I compleeetely understand what you mean about how Gabe transformed you and brought courage and confidence to you. Love does that, and it’s amazing!!! I am definitely going to take part in #EncourageBeauty for the month of November! Thank you and Hilary for this great encouragement!
