DIY Halloween Costumes Part 1: Maypole or Midsommer Swede

I am with you on Halloween. Even when I was little, it was my least favorite holiday. I love this idea though!
This is a cute costume idea!! I’ve always disliked the scary aspect of Halloween and was never allowed to dress as any scary character or anything growing up, so these are my kind of costumes! 😉 And I hear ya about the neighbors and the decorations .. and some of my neighbors have taken it to the extreme! I really like my simple fall wreath and plain ol’ pumpkins on the porch. 🙂
Ha well it’s evident my mind is already on the christmas holiday season… but this is a lovely interactive costume :)!
Cute! Love the idea and the pretty crown. xo Heidi

says:Not a fan either, but this is cute!! Trying to gear up for a neighborhood Halloween party….not sure if I’m going to go for Princess Kate, or Mary Poppins :). Look forward to seeing how you “bring” Christmas! Blessings!
This is so awesome! I love this idea!!!
It’s my least favorite too! This is such a pretty idea though.
So gorgeous! I love what you created. I think it’s sweet and not so “halloween”, which I’m a fan of 🙂
You look like a gorgeous maypole, Midsommer Swede, or Bohemian princess 🙂 Love this – so so pretty, the colors are perfect!!
What a sweet, simple idea! Love it.
This is my first time visit at here and i am actually impressed to read all at one place.
