says:I saw that you had “one goal” this summer and I clicked over hoping that it was going to be this! That is a very good goal to have. Sometimes I get caught up in making big goals that I forget the obvious and most important ones.

says:Mostly to get outside and enjoy the weather, but we went camping a couple of weeks ago and it has been ages. I have one more camping trip planned for July. I think I might want to try and slip a few more in there.

says:It must be great to have such an important goal Anna 🙂 I hope everything goes well and you enjoy beautiful days full of love the coming months.
Actually, after I read this post I immediately thought “Isn’t it perfect to have a big main goal for the coming season/month/week?” Usually I get trapped into my “to do” list containing different tasks from buying cherries to finish my master’s thesis, from renting a summer house for a month to publishing my first book. So I can’t choose one big goal even for a single week 🙁
You reminded me of an important lesson right now. Thank you so much!
Enjoy your weekend <3

says:I am doing quite a bit of traveling in the months to come, which I am endlessly grateful for. I am ready for some self-reflection and prayer time as I travel by myself and with others. I think summer is a great time to gear up for a crazy fall season and set some new goals for ourselves. I tend to think that these resolutions are more likely followed and kept, rather than the ones at the beginning of a year, when I am overwhelmed and tired from months of holiday celebrations!
you have such an amazing “project” this summer Anna! I had a great one planned too but things didn’t go as planned and now I’m readjusting. Oh well, life keeps going and one has to chin up and keep smiling 🙂 xx

says:That’s a wonderful goal Anna! I love the idea of having a goal(s) for the summer, it passes so quickly if we don’t take advantage of it. My one goal is to finish up my last semester of university and graduate!
Hmm… I suppose my goal is to spend more time outdoors and go camping. My husband lives for that kind of stuff and it’s never been something I seek out to do, even though I always enjoy it when I do go. So, I suppose my goal is to make my husband happy and, in return, I will be happier too. 😉
I just want to enjoy it with my girls and my husband. Starting this fall, all my girls will be in school, and I will be home alone. Trying to figure out if I want to work more, go back to school, or try something new. Who knows.
I am so looking forward to the story that this summer will tell…last year, summer was all about our wedding. So, there went summer…though it was all worth it and we had the wedding of our dreams, it meant missing out on all of our favorite things about summer. Summer in Seattle is the absolute best – maybe I am biased, but I believe it is true. I mean, truly, we wait ALL YEAR LONG for 8 weeks of perfect amazing weather – it lights up the city in a whole new way. There are a gazillion festivals and lots & lots of time spent with friends – patio time, picnic time, BBQ time, camping time… you name it! So, I am really hoping that this year’s summer story will be one of enjoying favorite traditions to the fullest. XO Brynn

Having read this I thought it was rather enlightening.
I appreciate you spending some time and effort to put this content together.
I once again find myself spending a lot
of time both reading and posting comments. But so what, it was still worth it!
