Anna, this is so precious! I love this beautiful photograph and your sweet words. I completely relate to feeling this way about my son. I’m so excited to see your family grow! You are CUTE!
Oh this is SO SO sweet!
Oh this is so incredibly sweet!! I have a six month old and am dying for time to slow down— getting too big too fast! That picture is so beautiful! Congrats! Lots of love!
I loved it when then older ones could feel the young ones kick and hear the heart best. It made them so excited.
Oh my gosh! This is SO precious! What a priceless photo…
“…I was reminded that he was meant to be my first born.” You say it perfectly. I think this all the time with my Michael. God knew I needed him to grow as a person, grow into my role as a Mama…on and on. 🙂

So beautiful!
I am afraid I have a ginormous baby – at 18 weeks last Friday, my husband was able to put his hand on my belly and feel a few very strong kicks! I don’t remember that happening with Will that early… haha ohhhh dear…
aww, melts my heart – and your insight with the first born. i think they teach us as much as we teach them!
So adorable and precious! I love his expression!
Beautiful, beautiful post. My first is five and it went by too fast. I miss the baby Molly, but love the little girl I see growing up, too.
This is ridiculously sweet. I’m so glad that he’s excited about the new baby…my siblings definitely weren’t! Haha. In any case, your family seems lovely and I hope that it continues to be. (:
Anna. This image just killed me dead. Captured such a precious moment between your first and your almost. I love reading your thoughts as your journey through motherhood, and am thankful that I have you to go first, to set an example of what things to remember and hold dear, to show me how. I know you’re not a perfect mom, but I love watching you do it. Thank you for sharing.
That is a gorgeous photo!! Canvas living room material:)
