I use a 50mm 1.8 lens on my Canon for food and pictures of my kids. I love it… especially for the price, as it’s relatively inexpensive.

i really appreciate your honesty in the last post. I definitely can relate on the no shopping thing and honestly don’t understand bloggers who post $200+ blouses on their blogs. I mean, who really has that much disposable income? I like a lot of the clothes in my own closet, though their not super fancy and I try my best to take care of them so they last more than a season, which is why I tend to stay with classic pieces. Again, thanks for keeping it real.
