Well, this is what I’ll be daydreaming about all day as I work. I need to start planning a little summer party — I only wish I had a backyard to do it in! But maybe one of my friends close by has one I can borrow…
I am trying to avoid the emotional decision of buying a home JUST so that I can host a fabulous backyard summer soiree before it’s fiery hot here in Texas. Haha. These photos are fabulous and definitely inspire happy daydreams. 🙂 Happy Wednesday!

I am sooooo excited for summer and getting our pool set up so we can have fun summer night parties! I’d love to string lights inside the pool fence to add some ambiance like those photos!

we still have our lights up from last summer (oops)..but it really does transform the backyard into a fun and whimsical arena..i absolutely love it 🙂

oooh so pretty! one of the favourite things we did last year was host a big BBQ for the hubs bday in July – it stretched into night, we had lots of candles, and we just loved it!

To answer your question (couldn’t find an email address to contact you) the first photo’s lights are anchored to trees and in the last I believe they are wooden steaks. When we strung lights before we did a mix of both:)
