{via Brooklyn Bride} {via Mary Kate McDevitt} One of my 12 goals for 2012 is to write more handwritten letters. I had a great dose of inspiration to get me going. These are just a few handwritten notes I received over the holidays from cousin Maggie, friend Marisol, and blogger buds Elisse and Brandi. A […]

This is also a goal of mine. I love handwritten notes and also the ones who have personalized notecards too. Those are so nice to receive! The writing on the envelopes above are great.
Handwritten things are wonderful. They add a warm, personal touch that type just doesn’t have. It shows the person that you care enough about them to take the time to write something by hand.
I LOVE writing letters!!!
I never thought about addressing letters that way! One of my goals this year is to write my godmother of Baptism and godmother of Confirmation more- especially since the latter just had a baby boy named Gabriel! New Godbrother!!
I’m also this month going to write a letter to my new boyfriend in boarding school outside of UVA. Won’t see him for another two months! It’s really hard dating someone long-distance. But sometimes God’s Will is not our own! I think it will be really great! I’m so looking forward to it! On that note, please pray for us! 🙂
I voted 🙂 Also, this is such a great goal for the new year. I always have great intentions to write more letters….but usually fail. lol….
I love that quote…so true. Gotta add this to my goal list! 🙂
Agreed with you there! Love handwritten notes.
i totally agree with the handwritten notes! i try… but i’m usually guilty of taking the easy route (email/text)… i really do like looking at/admiring people’s handwriting though 🙂 it makes me happy inside. it’s like an art! with a lot of character…

those envelopes at the top are to die for!
good luck
Yes! I need to work on this. I love sending little notes. How sweet that blog buddies send you letters?! I really want to learn calligraphy like that. It looks easy, but it’s so not.
I love this goal! I’ve had the urge to write some handwritten letters recently, but never gave in. I’m going to make this my goal too, I’ll try to write one handwritten letter a month. Thank you for the inspiration 🙂 You are such a gem!
My goal too! And to improve my handwriting. There is something about receiving letters and cards through the mail

Wow, if I had handwriting/calligraphy/lettering skills like these, I’d never type again! I love this goal. Handwritten is so much more meaningful.

This is on my goal list as well. Beautiful hand-written notes! 🙂
these are so darling! I love getting snail mail, especially when someone put so much time into it.
I love this goal! Nothing is more personal or fun to get than a hand written note 🙂 Those writing styles above are simply gorgeous xo
Such a treat getting a handwritten note!

hi anna – thanks for sharing. i love this goal and i love handwritten letters. it’s one of the reasons that motivated my snail mail series besides just loving on the people closest to me. Happy New Year!
Those are such cute letters! I want to do that too, I just need a pen pal 🙂
I value handwritten letters and notes SO much. My mother, Aunt and I always make the effort!

Good luck in this goal. I’m all for the handwritten letters and cards. They are fun to make and write, but inexpressibly special to receive. I know your friends will be touched and over-the-moon.
Best thing about hand-written letters is choosing cute stationary!
Happy new year!
Happy new year, Anna! Snail mail is the best kind of mail 🙂 Interestingly enough, Brandi and I have recently started exchanging handwritten letters/postcards too!
what a great goal! with the internet these days, the handwritten letters seem to be getting lost! we need to bring them back!
Definitely a goal for me this year too. Starting with V-Day postcards!
That’s one of my goals, too. There’s just something awesome about getting a letter in the mail. 🙂
I wish my hand writing was as cool as this!
this is such a great goal! and it’s one of mine for 2012, too. i really love hand written notes, they shows care and love and thought, and i hope to spread all of those around with my notes 🙂
