I recently have been reading the book Nourishing Traditions and Beautiful Babies. Both based on the Weston Price […]

Yum, I love a good smoothie and make them daily. Adding avocado sounds like a way to make it super creamy!
YUM! You’ve combined so many of my favorite things. Looks deilcious and of course, super healthy too.
Michelle Clement
says:Oh, yummy! 🙂 I love the idea of making it thicker to eat with a spoon – my go-to is coconut milk + spinach + a banana (when I need a really simple version) – so good!
Alli
says:Mmm, such a great way to get those extra nutrients…I’m really glad you shared those two books also, just bookmarked them for future reading. 🙂
Heather
says:Anything green sort of freaks me out, but I’ve been dying to try a green smoothie just for the heck of it. Just might try this one!

says:Yum! I’ve been searching for some new smoothies to add into our rotation, so I can’t wait to try it! Thanks for sharing it with us 🙂
Shannon Crabill
says:Seeing this post yesterday reminded me that I have a super ripe avocado that needs some attention. Today I blended it together with some almond milk, frozen banana and some blueberry and honey for sweetness.
The avocado may not be for everyone, but I like it 🙂
Looks yum.

says:This looks amazing 🙂

says:Oh Anna, this looks fantastic!
This looks like a MUST in the morning. I bet it has you feeling great… It’s amazing how you can’t taste the spinach at all in one! A great way to get all our veggies. Happy Thursday love! xo
I’d love to hear about your running program! Eat lots of protein and have lots of fun 🙂 and CROSSTRAIN! I was initially reluctant to hop on the smoothie train, but they have made a huge difference for my exercise. I have way more energy when I end a workout with a smoothie rather than a cookie. 🙂

I know a little late, but YUM YUM YUM!! Thanks for this link over on Jacquelyn’s bits+pieces, lady!!
[…] difference. Since my pregnancy cravings never really included spinach or broccoli, I came up with a clean green breakfast smoothie that is sweet to the taste but rich in green foods and energy boosters. Even a few of these a week […]
